St. John North Shores Hospital Golf Outing
Join St. John North Shores Advisory Board and community leaders as they enjoy a fun golf outing fundraising event on Monday, July 20, 2009, at the Gowanie Golf Club, 24770 South River Road in Harrison Township. The day starts with an 11:30 a.m. lunch and golf registration, allowing time to team up, network and relax. A
1 p.m. shotgun start leads to a leisurely 18 holes of golf. Participants can wind down with a 6 p.m. cocktail hour, followed by a delicious dinner at 7 p.m. The event will be held in a four-person scramble format. Contests include Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin and Hole-In-One.
Reservations for participation are available until July 7, 2009. Proceeds from the outing will benefit the renovation of the first and second floor patient dining rooms at the hospital. Please contact Lorraine Owczarek at (586) 582-7509 for more information.

St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital Hosts 10th Annual FORE! Golf Benefit
From double eagles to bogeys, it’s all fun for a great cause during the St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital (SJMOH) 10th Annual FORE Golf Benefit held Monday, August 17, 2009, at the Plum Hollow Country Club, 21631 Lahser Road, Southfield.
Golfers, SJMOH supporters and their friends and families are invited to participate in this great event of networking, games and fun for a cause. Your support will help make this special time in patients’ lives more memorable.
The event starts with an 8:30 a.m. registration and a 10 a.m. shotgun start. From 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., a delicious lunch on the course will be served to all players, followed by cocktails at 4:30 p.m. and dinner at 5 p.m.
Contests include Longest/Straightest Drive, Closest to the Pin and Hole-In-One. The full golf package is $350; Non-golfers are encouraged to show their support by joining players for dinner at $75 per ticket.

Net proceeds from the 2009 golf benefit will St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital's two campuses - Macomb Center and Oakland Center.
