The dream of a new hospital for western Oakland County, one of the fastest-growing areas in Michigan, has come true! The Providence Park campus in Novi has been transformed to include an inpatient hospital, which opened on Sept. 5, 2008. It is one of the most technologically advanced and patient-friendly hospitals in the nation. The goal is to make the campus a destination for health and wellness for thousands of area residents.
It's Your Hospital. Let's Build It Together.
As you can imagine, a project of this scope requires substantial resources. Ascension Health, the parent organization of St. John Health and Providence Park Hospital, has funded a significant portion of the $224 million cost; although the hospital is complete and now open for business, additional assistance is still needed to finish funding the project.
The Campaign for Providence Park Hospital is an opportunity for the community to join together to raise $25 million for this worthy project. Donors will be making a good faith investment in the health care of the community for the benefit of those who live, work and visit the Novi area.
Cash pledges and gifts are an important component of the fundraising campaign, but many other options are available. The following opportunities often provide favorable tax considerations for the donor:
-
Gifts of appreciated securities (stocks)
-
Gifts of real estate
-
Charitable lead trusts
-
Sale or transfer of family business
-
Estate pledges and bequests

Naming Opportunities
Many naming opportunities are still available for the new hospital campaign. All major contributors are recognized on a "Founders Wall" located in the main lobby of the hospital. Gifts can also be made in memory or in honor of a loved one.
