Although obstetrics is a significant part of Women’s Services at Providence, our physicians and staff focus on providing a comprehensive range of services to women of all ages at the Hospital and our outpatient medical centers.
Our care providers listen to what women want, respond to those special needs, and provide them with educational resources to understand women’s health issues. Complete health care for women means more than having a qualified personal physician. As a woman’s health care needs grow and change, Providence is there to offer quality medical care that encompasses many medical services and specialties. Primary care physicians – including obstetricians, gynecologists, family practitioners, certified nurse midwives, specialists in internal medicine and pediatricians – offer understanding, knowledge and care for families during all stages of their lives. Many of these physicians are in private practice. Others are part of Providence’s ambulatory network of more than 23 outpatient medical centers located throughout the northwest suburbs. All are dedicated to meeting the health care needs of the entire family, from newborns to seniors.
