Schedule of Activities

All residents at the Senior Community are invited and encouraged to take part in our busy activity program. A variety of group and individual activities are offered on all units from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and until 7:30 p.m. two evenings a week.  A weekly Mass is offered on Sunday mornings.

Variety of Activities

Some of our activities may include; bingo, exercise, current events, music groups (including chimes and sing-a-longs at the player piano), arts and crafts and watercolor classes, led by a local Grosse Pointe artist.

Many of our residents look forward to outings on our 18-passenger wheelchair-accessible bus to such places as the DIA, the MGM Grand Casino, the IMAX Theatre, Yates Cider Mill, Belle Isle, various restaurants, shopping excursions and annual Christmas light tours. All residents are encouraged to sign up for outings. A charge for some outings may apply.

Seasonal Celebrations

Whoever said “Life is a Party” was right. The activity program also boasts seasonal celebrations including Valentine's Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Halloween and Christmas parties, an annual Wedding Week, a Senior Olympics during national Nursing Home Week, an annual resident family picnic and many more. These events are always well attended and enjoyed by all.
