Program Accreditation
The Transitional Year Residency at Providence Hospital is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education to offer one year of training.

Providence Hospital is a charter member of the Council of Transitional Year Residencies of the Association for Hospital Medical Education.

Call Schedule
Every attempt is made to provide all residents at Providence with quality time for reading and for personal time to spend away from the Hospital. The call schedule is generally no more than every fourth night.
