Location
The Department of Research is located in the lower level of the DePaul Annex.
- Park in the lot located at the Nine Mile/DePaul entrance. From the front entrance, turn left at the first hallway. Follow this corridor and make a slight right at the DePaul Annex. Take the elevators to the lower level.
- When you exit the elevators on the lower level, turn right. Go through the door at the end of the hallway and make an immediate right. Use the phone on the right hand side to request entrance into the Research Department.

Network Guide
The Providence Hospital campus, located in Southfield, is on Nine Mile Road between Greenfield Road and the Lodge Freeway. It is easily accessible from freeways and main roads in the metropolitan Detroit area.
From Wayne and Oakland Counties (Western, Northwestern)
Includes Novi, Milford, South Lyon, Livonia, Northville, Farmington, Farmington Hills, Commerce Township, Walled Lake, West Bloomfield and Wixom:
- Take I-96 east to I-696 east
- Continue on I-696 and exit at Greenfield Road
- Turn right (south) on Greenfield (at this point, you are a half-block from Ten Mile Road)
- Continue on Greenfield to Nine Mile Road and turn right
- The hospital's main entrance (to DePaul Center) is on the left, off Providence Drive
From Oakland County (North)
Inclues Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, Troy, Rochester, Auburn Hills, Royal Oak, Berkley, Huntington Woods, Pleasant Ridge, Beverly Hills, Clawson, Ferndale, Madison Heights and Hazel Park):
Option A:
- Take I-75 south to I-696 west
- Continue on I-696 and exit at Greenfield Road
- Turn left (south) on Greenfield (at this point, you are a half-block from Ten Mile Road)
- Continue on Greenfield to Nine Mile Road and turn right
- The hospital's main entrance (to DePaul Center) is on the left, off Providence Drive
Option B:
- Take Woodward Avenue south to Nine Mile Road
- Turn right on Nine Mile and continue just past Greenfield Road
- The hospital's main entrance (to DePaul Center) is on the left, off Providence Drive
Note: Depending upon how close to the Lodge Freeway (US-10) you live, you may wish to take the Lodge south to Nine Mile Road, turning left (east) on Nine Mile. The hospital campus will be on your right, and the main entrance (to DePaul Center) is on the left, off Providence Drive.
From the West
Includes Livonia, Dearborn, Westland, Garden City and Redford:
- Take I-96 east to the Southfield Freeway
- Take the Southfield Freeway north to Eight Mile Road
- Turn right (east) on Eight Mile to Greenfield Road
- Turn left (north) on Greenfield Road
- Take Greenfield to Nine Mile Road
- Turn left on Nine Mile Road. The hospital's main entrance (to DePaul Center) is on the left, off Providence Drive
Note: You may wish to take Eight Mile Road directly east to Greenfield Road. Turn left (north) onto Greenfield, and then turn left on Nine Mile Road.
