Arthroscopic Surgery of Hips, Knees, Elbows, Shoulders, Ankles
Arthroscopy has revolutionized the treatment of orthopedic problems. Arthroscopes are small fiber optic viewing instruments that house a lens, light source and video camera. By inserting this high-tech instrument through a tiny quarter-inch incision, today’s orthopedic surgeons can easily examine, diagnose, and treat joint problems that were previously tough to identify. Arthroscopy has dramatically decreased hospital stays and recovery periods.
