• One of the world’s fastest and the most powerful medical imaging devices is being used at Providence Hospital in Southfield. Known as 3-Tesla MRI, the system is twice as powerful and faster than standard MRI machines. 3-Tesla MRI dramatically enhances diagnostic images, making it possible to more accurately diagnose routine and hard-to-detect conditions such as heart vessel problems, stroke, aneurysms, prostate cancer and spinal cord lesions.
