Nancy Satmary is currently the Nurse Manager of the St. John Transplant Specialty Center, where she oversees the administrative duties of the transplant program as well as the education and follow-up care of kidney and pancreas transplant recipients.  She has more than 25 years of experience in the field of transplantation.  She is a Registered Nurse and a Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator.  She completed her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Oakland University and her Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration at Siena Heights University.  She is an active member of the American Board of Transplant Coordinators, Transplant Management Group, International Transplant Nurses Society, and Gift of Life Michigan (GOL) Advisory Board.

Corlius McQuerry is a Registered Nurse and Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator.  She completed her Bachelors Degree in Nursing at the University of Phoenix.  She has a strong background in medical-surgical nursing from years of working on a nephrology/transplant floor.  Her special interest is in working with recipients for transplantation and maintaining the candidate the waitlist.

Brenda Bergeron is a Registered Nurse and Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator.  She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Phoenix.  Her experience includes working on the nephrology/transplant unit.  Her current focus is on living-donor transplantation and she is the Living Donor Coordinator/Advocate for the Transplant Program.

Diane Simmons is a Registered Nurse.  She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Michigan State University.  Her experience includes many years of working in dialysis.  Her current focus is on pancreas transplantation.

Laura Paratore is a Transplant Social Worker.  She completed her Masters Degree in Social Work at Wayne State University.  She is a Licensed Master Social Worker by the State of Michigan.  Her experience in facilitating patient support groups and promoting patient family education adds to the comprehensive approach of the Transplant Team.

Jennifer Bruns is a Transplant Social Worker.  She completed her Master's Degree in Social Work at the University of Minnesota.  She is a Licensed Master Social Worker by the State of Michigan.  She works with the transplant support group and coordinates their functions.

Theresa Malysz, RD

Theresa Malysz is a Registered Dietitian and the Transplant Dietitian.  She completed her Bachelors of Science in General Dietetics at Madonna University and her dietetic internship at Henry Ford Hospital.  Her special interests include kidney and pancreas transplants, pre- and post-weight loss classes, bariatric surgery, and individualized diet plans.

Tonya Melton is a Transplant Nephrology Nurse Practitioner/Post-Transplant Coordinator with St. Clair Specialty Physicians.  She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and her Masters of Science from University of Michigan.  She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and in Nephrology.  Her experience includes cardiac medicine, transplantation, trauma, GI, and vascular surgery.  She is a member of American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, American Nephrology Nurses Association, American Society of Nephrology, American Society of Transplantation, International Transplant Nurses Society, Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners, National Kidney Foundation, and Sigma Theta Tau.
