Joints in Motion program
St. John Home Care is proud to be part of a new and growing orthopedic program called Joints In Motion. This program for joint replacement surgery promotes a speedy post –op recovery. Patients and their “coach” attend a pre-admission joint class, recover on a special hospital unit dedicated to these procedures, are usually discharged home within 3 days post-op, and receive specialized home care management. Our specialized team of Physical Therapists is dedicated to maximize your home recovery and assist in your progression to outpatient therapy when appropriate. St. John Home Care will also provide your anti-coagulation therapy, including obtaining blood samples via a quick finger stick, and then dosing your treatment by a specially trained pharmacist. We are pleased to share that St. John Home Care is the only Home Care providing these unique services. Over 95% of our patients are giving us a 5 star rating for service excellence.
